The preparations for my exchange with Pneuma Healthcare began well before my departure. We held several meetings to clarify the tasks ahead and managed to identify a role that matched both the needs of the institution and my own skills and interests. Upon my arrival in Ireland, I was able to meet the team in person and get to know the incredibly kind people I would be working with. Although I initially faced some minor difficulties with the accent, I quickly adapted thanks to their patience and goodwill. On my first day, they took me on a tour of the surrounding area, introducing me to the stunning Irish landscape. I was fortunate enough to enjoy some sunshine and truly breathtaking views.
My work there lasted for a month and a half, and although it was technically challenging at times, I had the opportunity to collaborate closely with various team members, exchanging ideas and perspectives about the problem we were addressing. This allowed me to learn a great deal and further develop my skills. Overall, this part of the exchange has been extremely rewarding, not only on a professional level but also personally. It has enriched me culturally and allowed me to experience a different and fascinating culture that I did not know before. I am very glad I took part in this exchange, and I hope that my contribution will help train new professionals in psychology and advance research into more effective education in several areas.
